Older people are certainly getting fitter and its becoming more known that  exercise can be be preventive for many diseases such as diabetes , cardiovascular disease and many others.

The benefits of exercise on health is a long list.

 

Some of the ways in which I work with seniors and which are  important take into consideration how feelings about how we look and awareness of ourselves.

When training on an individual basis this is taken into account.

 

Important areas in training are:

 

  • Core stability

  • Stabilization

  • Strengthening 

  • Cardiovascular

  • Reactive training

 

All of these can help with a better quality of life, better efficacy and falling prevention.

 

Assessments can be done beforehand so improvements can be measured
